Eat, Be Merry and Be Healthy!
We all know our children thrive when they eat wholesome, nutritious food. They learn better, they play better, they FEEL better. And yet we are busy, our calendars are full, the temptations of easy, fast food are endless. What to do? Preparing quality food IS time-consuming and mind-consuming. It also might mean changing some of our habits and routines – not easy to do.
So how about just trying out ONE of our nutrition tips for the week? Choose the one that appeals to you the most, or choose the one that you can most likely accomplish. Check out our “Ten Tips To Build A Healthy Meal” (see attached).
Make a pact with a friend to try it out together. Start with a small step, build on it, see the rewards …. And you may feel energized to do more!

Meeting Children Where They Are
Children Learn By Doing
Do you think you could learn to play tennis by reading a book, by watching others, or by having someone tell you about the game?
Young children learn by doing. While adults can learn some things by reading, watching, or hearing information, your child learns almost completely by doing things himself.
He is still largely developing his body and his mind, and he does this by using them.
Volunteers Needed!
