East Dallas Community School  (est. 1978)

East Dallas Community School was founded in 1978 by a group of parents and teachers who were determined to provide an excellent education to the children in their low-income neighborhood.

Lindsley Park Community School  (est. 1999)

In 1999 we created, an open-enrollment charter school in East Dallas that replicates EDCS’s programs for low-income families with children ages three to nine years old. LPCS operates using primarily public funds, supplemented by private donations.

Bachman Lake Community School  (est. 2009)

At our new Bachman Lake site, we begin with parents during pregnancy and provide parent education for families with infants and toddlers. BLCS provides children with activities that help them grow mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically.
