East Dallas Community School is a 33-year-old nonprofit school in East Dallas for children nine and younger, from primarily low-income families. The East Dallas campus was the first campus among the current three campuses.

Directions

East Dallas Community School is located in a cluster of frame houses.
Take I-30 east (if you are coming from downtown) or west on I-30 (if you are coming from Highway 635)
Take the Winslow exit #49A and turn north onto Winslow (turn left if you are coming from downtown or right if you’re coming from 635)
Pass the light at Samuel Avenue
Move into the left lane
Cross East Grand (At this point Winslow becomes Wayne Street)
Two blocks later, at the corner of Wayne and Gurley, turn right into our parking lot.
Park.
Walk through the gate.
Turn right to the back door of the 2-story yellow house.
